alright, have you ever been broker than broke but have to find some way to buy christmas presents for everyone you appreciate?

I was SO in that bind.

Until I decided to make some pictures. I'm in the color guard at my HS. We're got an AWESOME group, they're totally dedicated. so I wanted to thank them for allowing me to be their captain. but I'm like "okay...HOW??!". and somehow my mom planted the idea of drawing caricatures in my head.

So now my CGs will be getting chibi-caricature hybrids in a while and black polka-dotted frame. hahaha it's SO girly looking. xD with a little pink rose and feathers on the bottom corner. anywho. thats how I'm saving my money and giving them presents.

Next, I realized I forgot to include my sister in my budget and found I'd have to draw something for her too. now, a caricature is good and well for a group of six people with 3x3" frames and who won't take it personally. My sister, I live with. So, I'm making a drawing of the little mermaid (her fav movie herione) and getting it matted.

So what does this have to do with anything? Well, I'm, finally going to update this very empty gallery with both works as soon as they're completed! so BOOYA!
